En nomenclature biologique, on nomme rangs taxinomiques, les niveaux hi\u00e9rarchiques de la classification scientifique du monde vivant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La classification classique propose une hi\u00e9rarchie codifi\u00e9e en 7 rangs principaux et 5 rangs secondaires, pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e, dans l’ordre d\u00e9croissant, de la fa\u00e7on suivante (en gras les rangs principaux, \u00ab\u00a0r<\/strong>este e<\/strong>n c<\/strong>lasse, o<\/strong>n f<\/strong>ait de g<\/strong>randes \u00e9<\/strong>tudes\u00a0\u00bb) :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Des rangs suppl\u00e9mentaires (dits \u00ab intercalaires \u00bb) sont \u00e9galement admis en ajoutant les pr\u00e9fixes \u00ab sous- \u00bb, \u00ab infra \u00bb, \u00ab micro \u00bb ou \u00ab super \u00bb aux rangs principaux ou secondaires (superordre, sous-genre, infraclasse, etc.).<\/p>\n\n\n
